Prices for uncontested divorce* are as follows:

• Divorce without children: $250 + $160 filing fee

• Divorce with children: $300 + $160 filing fee

Items which may result in extra fees are as follows:

• Mailing papers to other party one time, with SASE ... $ 25

• Drawing up divorce papers and signing the same day ... $50

• Divorce when other party's address is unknown ... $850

• Quitclaim deed (Client will file with probate court) ... $150

• QDRO (each) ... $350

If you are interested in our office handling your uncontested divorce, please fill out the form on the contact page and we will contact you. Please note that you must have been an Alabama resident for 6 months prior to the filing of the divorce. We will have your paperwork ready to be signed in 2 - 3 days. We will then contact you about scheduling an appointment in Dothan or Montgomery to sign the papers.



* An uncontested divorce is one where the parties have resolved all issues beforehand, such as property division, child custody, etc.
